What you can actually customize

Custom means different things at different price points, so here is the honest scope. The wax, wick and vessel come from our standard line — that is what keeps the burn predictable. Everything printed, scented or boxed is yours to choose.

• Label artwork: a photograph, a logo, a line of handwriting scanned in, or type set in one of our house layouts.
• Wording: names, dates, an inside joke, a toast, a memorial line. Up to roughly 120 characters keeps type readable at jar size.
• Scent: pick from the current fragrance list rather than a bespoke blend — every scent on the list has already been burn-tested in these vessels.
• Vessel and size: signature glass, wood-lid tumbler or a recycled bottle from the liquor line.
• Packaging: plain mailer, kraft keepsake box, or boxed with a handwritten card for gifting.

How a custom candle order works

1. Choose the candle and scent, then upload your image or type your wording on the product page.
2. We set the label and send a digital proof for anything with a photograph or logo, usually same day.
3. You approve or send changes. Nothing prints until you say so.
4. We print, apply, quality-check the burn surface and pack. Most orders leave the studio within two business days of approval.

Bulk and event orders — weddings, corporate gifting, memorials — run on the same process with one proof for the batch. For anything above 50 units, allow a week; we pour in small batches rather than holding stock.

Getting the artwork right

Most disappointing custom candles are disappointing because of the file, not the printing. A label is small and unforgiving: a screenshot of a screenshot will look soft no matter what we do.

• Send the original photo from your camera roll rather than one forwarded through a messaging app, which recompresses it.
• Aim for at least 1200 pixels on the short edge.
• Faces read best when they fill a good part of the frame — we can crop in, but we cannot invent detail.
• Dark, low-contrast photographs lose shadow detail on matte label stock. We will flag it on the proof if we think it will not hold up.

Why hand-poured matters for a custom order

A personalized label on a badly made candle is still a badly made candle. Everything here is 100% soy wax with lead-free cotton wicks and phthalate-free fragrance, poured in small batches. That means an even melt pool, no tunnelling on the first burn and no soot on the label you paid to personalize.

Common questions

How long do custom candles take?

Most personalized orders ship within two business days of proof approval. Orders over 50 units take about a week because we pour to order rather than from stock.

Is there a minimum order?

No. A single candle with a single photo is a normal order for us; the same process runs for one as for three hundred.

Can I put a company logo on a candle?

Yes. Send a vector file or a high-resolution PNG with a transparent background and we will set it on the label layout of your choice.
