Beverage Candles

The non-alcoholic side of our bottle work. Recycled cans and bottles — fruit punch, grapeade, iced tea and other soft-drink vessels — cut open, cleaned and poured by hand, keeping the printed can face intact. They land well as a teenager's gift, a dorm or office desk candle, or a nostalgic nod to whatever someone drank growing up, without the bar-cart framing of a liquor bottle.

Aluminium conducts heat faster than glass, so set these on a coaster or trivet and keep the wick trimmed short. The wax is the same all-natural blend we use across the workshop, explained in are candles toxic?, and the care guide covers trimming and first burns.
