Spring Candles

What we put out when the heavy winter scents stop feeling right. Pale blossoms and a sunflower in the softer palette the season calls for, chosen to sit on a kitchen windowsill, a porch table or an Easter and Mother's Day setting without shouting. Small, light and easy to give for no particular occasion.

Spring is also when most houses air out, and a draught is the main cause of an uneven burn or a smoking wick — keep these away from an open window while lit. Our soy and eco-friendly wax guide explains why a natural wax handles a warming room better, and the care guide covers trimming.
