Halloween Candles

Halloween here leans more atmospheric than gruesome. You will find sculpted skulls and sugar-skull ceramics, pumpkins in a few sizes, cheerful monster faces for households with small trick-or-treaters, bewitched-brew vessels and a handful of musical candles that add a soundtrack to the whole thing. It is a focused seasonal assortment rather than an endless one — each design is picked because it looks good lit, not just on a shelf.

These are display candles as much as anything, so they tend to burn on tables, porch ledges and party buffets. Keep them clear of curious pets — our pet-safe candle guide covers the details — and keep the wax care guide handy for the aftermath.
