Intention Candles

Three colours, nothing printed on them: blue, pink and red. People use these to mark something — the start of a month, a decision made, a morning page written — and the plainness is the reason they work. There is no artwork competing for attention, just a coloured candle you light while you think.

Choose by whatever the colour means to you rather than by any rule we would impose. They burn for long uninterrupted stretches, which is one more reason we pour all-natural wax instead of paraffin in a closed room — the reasoning is set out here. A trimmed wick keeps the flame steady, as the care guide describes.
